The parking lot, sign, and location do not do this place justice. This was a super cute restaurant with thoughtful decor. The server was very kind. The lunch was affordable and delicious (shrimp empanada and minimofongo), and the bathrooms were clean. Keep this lovely place open and pay them a visit!

I ordered mimifongo pernil (stuffed tostones), oxtail stew with white rice and blacks, and Mango juice! 10/10 food and environment! The decor made me feel like I was in a restaurant in the DR. Man, the food was hot and so tasty! Tender meat well made rice and beans. All the flavors came together very well. I plan to be back at least once a month to try something different each time. Also, it is a very reasonable price for the portions. Absolutely delicious food. I highly recommend it. The staff speaks Spanish, but I was able to order comfortably with my limited ability.

Everything about this place was awesome. The service and the food is everything. I can't wait to get back. Everyone gave it a high five. It's a hidden little gem. The food came out so fresh and so hot.

I love Dominican food!! It’s so hard to find any good Dominican restaurants in the Raleigh area, so when I heard of this place I had to stop by. Their meals remind me of a (well-cooked home meal) I loved each plate. We even ordered empanadas that also tasted delicious. I definitely recommend stopping by! I will be coming back for seconds.

The food was delicious! Great customer service and the portions were good too. Delicious natural juices!! In the pictures you’ll see the plates and I added extra fried plantain and extra con con (burned rice) with beans.

My first time trying mofongo and it was so delicious!! Also tried the beef empanadas, 10/10! The service was fast and friendly. Our waitress didn't speak the best English but she was patient as we ordered our food. I will definitely be back again when im craving some good Dominican food!!
